ANTONIO RUSCITO [KABALION RECORDS]
Warm welcome to Lord Michel Iseneld’s magical castle… Inside, the dungeon is called “Hypnus” and a legend told in The Memoir suggests that a dragon is living in it. The surrounding towers are named “Tome“, entirely dedicated to Michel, “Kabalion“, hosting friends, and “Aether Mechanics“, the den of the wizard. The castle overlooks the rooftops of the medieval city “Aedi” and its hundred inhabitants, itself containing the famous school “Patreon“, preparing the future knights.
Let’s stop the metaphors here before you confuse our “Lord Of The Rings” inspiration with substance consumption. As you can read, Michel is atop a giant project, and we took the challenge of picking our favourite release in its entire discography…
Since it contains many legendary releases, such as “Deep Blue” by Tozzi or “Caimano Tribe” by Primal Code, the task hasn’t been easy. Yet we ended up choosing “Polveri di Ghiaccio” by Antonio Ruscito: Intriguing, subtle and profound, insanely hypnotic and well-inspired, the work of the Italian artist (yes, one more) reached “perfection” for us, even though “Orcs” say it doesn’t exist…
