STOP WAR IN UKRAINE

Kalamine Records – #SaveUkraine [2022-03-04]

FUNDS TO DONATE HUMANITARIAN MATERIAL (RED CROSS)

No hypnotic techno in this giant album, but if you are looking for original works to compliment your mixes, you will for sure find what you are looking for among the 82 creative pieces. Kalamine Records from France is well-known for its broad experimental music, sometimes suggesting deep topics that the producers must follow. Ukraine’s war has pretty well inspired the artists, in this large melting pot of experimental sub-genres, from ambient to psychedelic to electronica music.

Northern Electronics – A Dove Has Spread Her Wings: Relief for Ukraine [2022-02-28]

FUNDS TO HELP THE UKRAINIAN FAMILIES AND CHILDREN (UNICEF)

Marco Shuttle, Claudio PRC, Dorisburg, Svreca, Neel, Daniel Avery, Mike Parker, Anthony Linell, Donato Dozzy, Shifted, Dasha Rush and many more in one release… Not only the VA serves a noble cause, but it is also a monumental art piece, run by the most talented artists in the scene. The producers have all contributed with a new well-inspired track, either delivering a call for peace or translating the rage or the fear. It is worth mentioning that Marco Shuttle also produced a fabulous EP earlier in February, “4UKRAINE“, entirely dedicated to the Ukrainian cause.

U4E – Support Ukraine – Fundraiser VA [2022-02-28]

FUNDS TO HELP THE UKRAINIAN ARMY

The festival continues on the Belgian activist label United For Equity (U4E); its second release after a VA dedicated to “Black Lives Matter” and “The Bail Project”. The new VA takes a more techno-ish path, mainly composed of dancefloor-oriented tracks, all new, featuring well-established artists of the genre, such as Answer Code Request, Ben Klock, Tommy Four Seven, Marco Bailey, Marcel Dettmann and Etapp Kyle.

Analogue Network – Kyiv February 24th VA / Vol 1 [2022-03-01]

FUNDS TO HELP THE UKRAINIAN ARMY

The Ukrainian activist label Analogue Network works for the cause of its own country, through a VA divided into five volumes, this one being the first. There is a lot of personality in each of the tracks; a bundle of bangers served by underground electronic music producers that we follow closely, such as Justine Perry, Vakat and Lakej.

Krill Music – #StandWithUkraine I Fundraiser [2022-03-07]

FUNDS TO HELP THE UKRAINIAN ARMY

Norwegian label Krill Music proposes its own fundraiser, through a more eclectic VA, containing some massive dancefloor bangers, all new as well. We recognised some artists of our scene, such as Di.Capa, Detcom, Nørbak and Petru.

Circular Limited – Hope for Ukraine [2022-03-04]

FUNDS TO DONATE HUMANITARIAN MATERIAL

The approach is slightly different for Circular Limited: Radijo Taisykla makes his debut on the label with superb deep pieces, in an album complimented by some of Svarog’s best tracks from the past. We guess that both artists are Ukrainian: we are sure for Svarog but couldn’t find the information for Radijo Taisykla. Circular Limited has also generously given away all its benefits to a Ukrainian charity cause within a specified time period. Ultimately, the album is the most consistent one among all the propositions.

Like us, you probably enjoy other music genres: regarding the works to support Ukraine, we would like to mention also a superb ambient VA called “Places for Peace” on the British label Home Normal, an impressive jazz VA called “Music For Ukraine” on Finnish label We Jazz Records and a huge drum’n’bass VA called “Together with Ukraine“.

Love from the community 💙💛
