Last episode in this format 👀
As announced on Facebook, it is time for us to close the curtains on this concept of sonic exhibitions. Next week: the 100th episode will be commemorative. Then, hopefully soon after, our “weekly selection” will be rethought to fit our new life challenges.
It has been an honour to cover these magnificent releases in deep and we hope that through our humble selection and words, you found an interest in listening to our favourite music.
As philosopher Terminator once said: “We’ll be back!” In the meantime, our last episode in this format:

BLÃ’T HEATHEN
[SELF-RELEASED]
Drum’n’Bass, experimental, chill-out music, Frenchcore, hard techno, darkpsy, tekno, African drumming, ambient, noise, folk and world music are all artistic channels for Italian enthusiast Orlando Li Mandri, associated with no fewer than seven projects, including Blòt Heathen.
That’s not all: singer, percussionist, guitar player, electronic music producer, Li Mandri is a multi-instrumentalist, and most of the sounds that you hear are “homemade”, with lots of care.
Such a cultural heritage, obviously centred on tribalism, is an indicator of how infinite his creativity is.
In his project “Blòt Heathen”, Li Mandri draws upon the concept of “Blòt,” which refers to ritual sacrifice in northern mythology, as he journeys back to the distant past to revive profound ancestral rhythms.
In early 2023, we came across his album “Techno-Shaman“, which, back then, particularly impressed us, as well as Reggy Van Oers. It motivated us to scan his discography, discovering gems after gems, including “Modern Ritualism”, favourited too.
